The North Georgia Chamber Symphony, Inc. is a non-profit organization, based in Dahlonega. We rehearse Tuesdays from 7 to 9:30 at Dahlonega United Methodist Church, August through May. Membership is open to all string players in the area, by audition. We perform concerts in May and December, supplementing our group with professional musicians from all over the southeast. We perform regularly in Blairsville, Dahlonega, Gainesville, Cumming and other locations.

Free Admission / Holiday Concerts
Bela Bartok's Rumanian folk Dances. Laurin Smith will solo on Mozart's Violin Concerto No3 in G Major. Dr. Benjamin Shoening, lyric baritone, will sing several American folk songs, as well as Christmas favorites O Holy Night and Jesu Bambino. Orchestra will play The Christmas Waltz, I'll be Home for Christmas, Winter Wonderland. We'll play and sing other holiday favorites and close with We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
