A Day in the Life of a Miner

Join us for a day of education and entertainment! We will have many crafts people and artisans demonstrating and selling their wares- expect to see a blacksmith, potter, spinner, woodworker, quilter, crochet and basket weaver to name a few. Mike the miner will be there demonstrating gold panning and the historic jail will be open for tours. There will be plenty of music supplied by our Appalachian 'Jammers' with dance demonstrations as well. Of course admission to the gold museum is included with an on-site assayer and special story-tellers.....

If you weren't there in 1860- this will be the next best thing!
