A Little Night(hawk) Music Series: “The Well-Tempered Workout”

The A Little Night(hawk) Music Series proudly presents “The Well-Tempered Workout,” featuring preludes and fugues from Johann Sebastian Bach’s Well Tempered Clavier.  This will be the first of three concerts given by UNG faculty member, Dr. Andrew Santander over the next year that will culminate in a complete performance of all 48 preludes and fugues.  The presentation of the pieces is unique in that it will not follow the usual order, but will move methodically from the most familiar keys in use in Bach’s time to the most unusual walking the listener down a distinctive musical journey.  The performance of “The Well-Tempered Workout” will take place on Monday, November 5 at 7:30pm and will be held in the Ed Cabell Theatre Lobby on the University of North Georgia Gainesville Campus.  All ALNM performances are free to the public.
