Church Choir Festival

A Church Choir Festival, under the direction of Dr. John Broman, UNG Director of Choral Activities, will be presented Sunday, February 25, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at Dahlonega United Methodist Church. Featured choirs will be the Chancel Choir from Christ the King Lutheran Church (Cumming), the Sanctuary Choir from Dahlonega United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Presbyterian Church Choir (Jasper), and the University of North Georgia Singers, Le Belle Voci, and Singers Men & Patriot Choir. The Festival Mass Choir will conclude the afternoon concert by presenting The Meditations Of My Heart by Elaine Hagbenberg, Who But The Lord? by Craig Courtney, The Battle Hymn by Peter J. Wilhousky, and Christ We Do All Adore Thee by Theodore Dubois “in the round.” Mary Beth Hutcheson is the Festival Accompanist. The program is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.
