¡Cortos! Latin American Short Film Festival

April 2 (Gainesville) Monday, 6-8 pm, Continuing Education / Performing Arts Center 108 April 3 (Oconee) Tuesday, 7-9 pm, Student Resource Center 522 April 5 (Dahlonega) Thursday, 7-9 pm, Hoag Auditorium The Department of Spanish at UNG would like to invite you to attend ¡Cortos! Latin American Short Film Festival. This event will showcase and offer UNG students and community members an inside look at current short films directed by up-and-coming Latin American filmmakers. These short films arrive from different regions of the Spanish-speaking world, and bring a unique perspective into the languages, cultures, and current topics portrayed in film projects in recent years. All the shorts will feature English subtitles and vary between lengths of 9 to 13 minutes each. Each night of the festival will feature a guest speaker before the films and Q&A moderators after the screenings.Some films contain violence and/or sexual references.Light refreshments will be served.
