Event Description:
Dahlonega is a welcoming and hospitable place to live, work and play, but like any small community, the opportunity to meet new friends and become engaged in the community can take time. The Chamber has partnered with the Newcomers group to help identify areas and individuals new to the community and provide connections to local officials, business owners, and residents who can provide insight into life in Dahlonega. Regular meetings are held the 2nd Monday of the month at Lumpkin County Parks and Recreation Center, 365 Riley Rd, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Special interest groups will be formed to encourage people to get to know others that share common hobbies or activities.
