Employers in the Know-Region 2

Sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL), the event is a business seminar for employers about federal policies and legislation that will help to ensure compliant and profitable ventures in the upcoming year. It features a presentation by State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler on GDOL initiatives and programs to encourage job growth and economic development. Also, employers will learn about the state's unemployment insurance (UI) system and ways to keep it cost-effective.

Labor law attorneys and U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) representatives will provide information to help employers plan policies and actions during a complex legal and regulatory business environment.
