Memorial Day Ceremony

Lumpkin County will observe Memorial Day with a solemn ceremony Monday, May 26, at Lumpkin County Veterans Memorial Park on Courthouse Hill. Speaker for the service will be Lt. Col. Michael Scarpulla, Commander of the 5^th Ranger Training Batallion. The ceremony begins promptly at 10 a.m. and concludes about 11 a.m. All citizens are invited to attend to honor those who gave all in service to their country.
