The A Little Night(hawk) Music Concert Series presents the Revien Duo

The A Little Night(hawk) Music Concert Series is pleased to present the Revien Duo on Monday, March 5 at 7:30pm.  The Revien Duo is comprised of UNG faculty member Phil Snyder, cello, and Brian Smith, 7-string guitar and electronics.  An extension of the Revien Trio, this duo performs a wide variety of repertoire, spanning four centuries of music.  Renaissance tunes share the stage with jazz standards, Russian contemporary music by Nikita Koshkin showcases a full range of emotional intensity, and familiar tunes by Saint-Saëns and Satie are contrasted by works from trip-hop pioneers Portishead. The performance will take place in the Ed Cabell Theatre Lobby on the UNG Gainesville Campus and is free to the public.  For more information, please contact the UNG Music Department at music@ung.edu or 678-717-3930.
