The Crimson Moon: JOSEPH HUMMEL (Roots & Folk Singer/Songwriter)

Joseph Hummel has been playing music for several years and has graced The Crimson Moon's stage on multiple occasions. He was a member of the duo 'Destitute Way' which blended traditional instruments with a modern alternative sound. Joseph has also participated in several of our songwriter showcases sharing his original music and performing with other great local artists. Hummel has always been intrigued by artist who broke down musical boarders by mixing traditional instrumentation with modern influence. As a musician who favors many different artist, types of music, and even time periods of music, Hummel tries to keep a southern vibe and old soul lyrical writing styles, while presenting songs that appeal to present listeners.
