The Crimson Moon: ROBIN BULLOCK

Robin is a prolific composer and multi-instrumentalist,playing guitar, cittern and mandolin. He blends the ancient melodies of the Celtic lands and their Appalachian descendants into one powerful musical vision.Originally rising as a founding member of the acoustic world-music trio Helicon (winners of the Association for Independent Music's prestigious INDIE Award for Best Seasonal Recording), Robin's solo career has won him 3 Music Association WAMMIE Awards, a Governor's Award from the Maryland State Arts Council,& a feature broadcast on NPR's hugely popular Celtic music program "The Thistle and Shamrock."  His recorded work includes 9 solo CDs and many collaborations, the most recent being w/ Celtic Guitar Summit Steve Baughman, which was honored "Editor's Pick" awards as one of the top10 CDs of the year.
