The Crimson Moon: SHOAL CREEK BLUEGRASS BAND (Local favorite True-Bluegrass)

The Shoal Creek Band was formed in 1985 and has become one of North Georgia's most popular bluegrass music groups. Shoal Creek's versatile repertoire ranges from the traditional styles of Flatt & Scruggs and Bill Monroe and the mountain style of the Stanley Brothers to the more progressive styles exemplified by the Seldom Scene and Alison Krauss. Their primary goal for each performance is to keep the audience entertained, so that in addition to singing and playing solid, tight and tasteful selections, they relate to their listeners and have fun together.
