Winter fun meets community spirit at the Pinetree Plunge, a family-friendly event hosted at the Pinetree Recreation Center on March 7 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Come out to support the Park & Recreation Swim Team while enjoying games, music, food, prizes, and the thrill of braving the cold waters. The cost to participate is $5, with all donations benefiting the Park & Recreation Swim Team. The event is open to the public, and participants will have the chance to win a special Pinetree Plunge shirt. The
Event parking is at the UNG Library with shuttle bus service to the Cottrell Center, although the library is across the street from the Cottrell Center for those who might prefer to walk. Shuttle services run from 8:00-9:00 AM and 11:30-12:30.
